Terms and Conditions

Last updated: May 10, 2026

These terms govern access to and use of Serendity. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy.

1. Provider and service

Serendity is a place recommendation service that lets users search by city, district, vibe, and place type. Results are generated using third-party location data providers together with Serendity's internal scoring logic.

2. Operator details

REQUIRED_COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME operates Serendity. Registered business details: REQUIRED_COMPANY_ADDRESS. Tax information: REQUIRED_MERSIS_OR_TAX_INFO_IF_APPLICABLE.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information, keep your credentials confidential, and remain responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts used unlawfully, abusively, or in breach of these terms.

4. Plans and pricing

Serendity offers Free and Plus plans. Current plan details, included features, usage limits, and public pricing are shown on the Pricing page. We may update plan features or pricing prospectively by updating the website before changes apply to future billing periods or new purchases.

5. Billing and merchant of record

Paid purchases and subscriptions are billed by Paddle, which acts as merchant of record for checkout, payment collection, invoicing, sales tax handling, and certain payment support functions. Serendity does not store raw card numbers, expiry dates, or CVC data.

6. Renewals and cancellation

If you subscribe to a recurring paid plan, the subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You may cancel through the Serendity billing area or Paddle's customer tools. Cancellation stops future renewals and, unless applicable law requires otherwise, does not automatically create a refund for charges already processed.

7. Refunds

Refund handling for paid orders is governed by the Refund Policy, Paddle's buyer-facing processes, and any mandatory consumer rights that apply in the customer's jurisdiction. Where there is any conflict, mandatory law and Paddle's merchant-of-record process will control the payment-side handling of the transaction.

8. Acceptable use

You may not abuse the service, interfere with normal operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape the platform in violation of applicable law or our instructions, or use the service to support unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity.

9. Third-party data and availability

Some features depend on third-party services and data sources, including mapping and payment providers. Availability, accuracy, and completeness of third-party data cannot be guaranteed, and parts of the service may change or be unavailable without prior notice.

10. Intellectual property

Serendity, its software, branding, interface, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property to you.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

12. Changes to the service or terms

We may update the service, these terms, or related policies from time to time. The current version published on this website applies from its stated last-updated date.

13. Contact

Support: REQUIRED_SUPPORT_EMAIL. Legal contact: REQUIRED_LEGAL_EMAIL.
